You may have heard many stories in which people find the treasures of old times and they become millionaires overnight. But today we will mention some of the lucky ones in the real world whose treasures changed their lives.
1. Black Opal
Ten years ago today, there was a man in Australia named Bobby who worked in a mine. This man kept searching for the treasure but he did not find anything. One day when he was in dire need of money, he sold all his diggers. His last discovery was a bucket full of stones that contained separate stones. A stone was the most different and strange when he considered it. When he started carving this stone, he finally found a precious stone called Black opal which was 306 carats. It was very beautiful to look at. He sold the gem for 420 million dollars.
2. Rare Coins
The owner of the Rare Collectibles store was helping them repair a family home. That house has been closed for the last 20 years. He was repairing a house when he saw a hole in the wall. He then asked the landlord for permission to break down the wall. The landlord gave him permission. When he broke down the wall, there was a pile of rare coins – the whole wall was full of coins. In fact, the old owner of the house used to put coins on the wall. After the coins were released, they sold them for 81 28.1 million.
3. Boot of Cortez
It’s not a shoe, it’s the largest gold nugget in the world to date. It was discovered by a common man in Mexico. He used to search for things with his cheap metal detector. One day, while searching in the ground, he found this medal which weighed 12 kg. He sold it for 140 million.
4. Viking Treasure
Most treasures are found with metal detectors. But in 2014, a man living in Scotland started digging crops and found a huge treasure. They found more than 100 gold items worth tens of millions of dollars and this treasured discovery was Scotland’s biggest discovery.
In Los Angeles in 1978, some children were playing in the garden. When the children dug up the soil, they found a piece of metal on which the children dug further. The 1974 model Ferrari was buried below. The children reported the incident to their parents and when the parents called the police, the investigation revealed that the car had been stolen and buried. Unfortunately, the children did not find anything and the car was handed over to the owner. For the owner, the car was nothing short of a treasure.
